I’m a writer by trade and passion but sometimes, just sometimes, I get distracted by the internets when I’m otherwise suppose to be working. Rare, I know, and I’m sure you have NEVER experienced this but the internet is very distracting (just trust me on this one). A fun fact here or a news article there, a random piece of information in a tweet or some compelling picture on pintrest or, godknows, some ridiculous comment on Facebook leads to a chase for facts and information which somehow always ends up sucking me into the web of somewhat factual information that is Wikipedia. At this point there is no hope, I’m Wikitranced. So basically its like Alice in Wonderland but only Wilhelmina in Wikipedia. I’m talking HOURS of almost everyday spent chasing the rabbit called Mr. Mostly Useless Information.

Useless, that is, unless you find something to do with it. I found something to do with it. I’m going to blog about it. To make myself feel better about procrastinating on my work and justifying the 3+ hours I just spent FOR EXAMPLE tracking down any and all leads of who the asshole who broke Adele’s heart and inspired ’21′ was,  I’ve decided to write it down– THUS blog here THUS procrastination instantly becomes productivity. See what I did there? Yes, in a way I guess I am just giving an excuse to my mind numbing behavior but whatever, its 2012 and bitches ain’t shit.
